I am one ecstatic (but incredibly hungover - company xmas party last night) Crimson Tide fan this morning as ESPN.com reports that Rich Rodriguez will be the new Alabama football coach next year.
This gives Alabama instant credibility with regards to recruiting, especially on the offensive side of the football. I sincerely hope Joe Kines will be kept on as Defensive Coordinator as he is a stud, and his sunglasses look with the hat is positively menacing.
This is a landmark signing that in my opinion will bring Alabama back.
Jimmy Johns, remember that name when the Heisman finalists are announced next year.
